021. Katniss passed away at an old age from a disease, before Peeta. There was no cure, so she took painkillers to die peacefully and lied in her bed with Peeta on a stool by her side, holding her hand. On her last night, she whispered to him: ‘Stay with me’, and before death could drag her away, she heard, ‘Always’.
